ABOUT

Improviser, writer, actor and New England Patriots enthusiast Amanda Lifford hails from Boston, Massachusetts. She has lived in Rome and Sydney, which she will work into conversation almost immediately or include as the second line of her bio.  Currently, she resides in Chicago, where she trains and performs improvisation at Second City, iO, and ComedySportz.

Amanda is pursuing a degree at Northwestern University with a double major in Radio/Television/Film and Legal Studies. She spent the summer interning at Full Frontal with Samantha Bee and is now employed by the by the Chicago Cubs as a childcare worker (which is a perfectly logical career path and nobody should question it.)

When she isn't in school or on the way to improv class stuck between South Boulevard and Howard "waiting for signal clearance," Amanda writes and acts for the late night comedy show the Blackout, improvises with her Titanic teammates, volunteers at Girls on the Run 5K races, and bakes challah. She can occasionally (read: weekly) be found yelling at the television during football games and "explaining the facts of deflate-gate" to Uber drivers.
